DPI Announces Logistical Support & Operational Management contract with HHS Assistant Secretary for Preparedness Response
June 8, 2016 – DPI is pleased to announce a contract award within the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response. DPI will continue to provide logistical services and operational management.
Support services will be continuing in a variety of functions such as emergency deployments of HHS response teams, meeting management, trainings and operational planning. “Our ongoing support of this contract, its mission and goals are central during emergency events both within the United States and worldwide”, said Andrea Stone, DPI’s Chief Executive Officer. “The deployments and planning are critical during events like the crisis in Flint, Michigan, hurricanes, and flooding throughout the nation. We are extremely honored to continue our work on this program in particular”.

This year, more than 300 students will see “STEM in action” at public service careers like the U.S. Coast Guard, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Fairfax International Search & Rescue, FBI and others. WHS is a non-profit, non-partisan organization founded in March 2009 to provide a “professional organization for women working in the field of homeland security who are committed both to their jobs and to combating the threat of terrorism.”
