DPI has supported FEMA since 2006. FEMA supports our citizens and first responders to ensure that as a nation we work together to build, sustain and improve our capability to prepare for, protect against, respond to, recover from and mitigate all hazards. DPI has supported OCIO, Mission Support, and the Technological Hazards Division.

With DPI FEMA:

• Initiated and supported the Open Government program
• Formulated strategic communications and facilitated strategic planning processes
• Conducted workforce assessments to quantify the workload and workforce and performed gap analysis
